Can you build organisational and human capacity through evaluation?
It is my experience that you can.
I use my experience as a trainer, manager and researcher to develop evaluation projects that build capacity while also measuring value. These are my starting points:
- Evaluation should be driven by the needs, issues and questions of organisations
- Evaluation participants are the knowledge experts in their situation.
- Evaluation should enable participants and organisations to learn, change and grow.
My role as evaluator is to facilitate. I use my skills and knowledge to enable participants and organisations to design relevant evaluations based on the above principles. Discover the potential of evaluation by finding out how it can be used in practical ways for you and your organisation. Lesley Greenaway
