Linked Work and Training Trust

LWTT is an independent social enterprise organisation which has an established reputation for quality and innovation in training, consultancy and research services across a range of policy areas relevant to education, the environment, regeneration, social inclusion, community learning and development and community economic development. Our approach to our work is based on capacity building that enhances the ability of individuals and communities of place and interest to understand, influence and participate in policy and practice developments.

LWTT offers an innovative programme - unique in the United Kingdom - of education and work-based learning with a community development focus. This allows people the opportunity to work in a local community and at the same time to train to degree level in community learning and development. In addition to offering accredited training at undergraduate, post graduate and CPD levels, LWTT also carry out independant research and consultancy work on behalf of organisations including: The Scottish Government, NHS Forth Valley, Scottish Community Foundation, and Greenspace Scotland.

I have worked as an associate with LWTT on a number of projects including developing materials for the Community Learning and Development Standards Council. Return to associates
