Code of practice

• to ensuring the confidentiality of clients and participants based on mutually agreed approaches to recording and reporting of material;
• to ensuring anonymity of evaluation respondents unless acknowledging; participants and/or organisations is appropriate and is agreed in advance. 

• to provide a safe, open and trusting environment which enables participants to contribute freely;
• to respect the contributions and participation of the individuals and groups involved in any project;
• to empowerment, participation and working in partnership.

• to work within current equal opportunities legislation and take account of participating organisations policy and practices in equal opportunities;
• to be aware of equalities issues and in particular those which have most impact on the work in hand, and to seek to be inclusive in my practices;
• to challenge discrimination and exclusive practices.

• to work within the provisions and principles of the data protection act 1998.
